… from the Start

State of Kansas regulations for alcohol * Non alcoholic brands are exempt  

  • Kansas has a traditional three tier system in which territories are assigned by county to specific distributors
  • Kansas is a single FOB state with no Quantity discounts allowed.  Our teams will work with you to make sure your priced competitively and correctly in market.
  • Full Strength beer (>6.1% abv), liquor and wine are sold through independent retail liquor stores and licensed on premise retailers.
  • 6.0% and lower abv beers are sold through grocery, convenience and CMB licensed on premise accounts.

Contract phase through first shipments,  Inventory orders and product management

  • General contracts available for use if needed. Each distributor partner will hold a direct contract with each supplier partner  * See Appendix for link. 
  • Our inventory managers will work together to forecast, and share loads as needed to make sure we purchase the right SKU’s and packages.   Single shipment opportunities are available. 
  • Monthly internal quality audits conducted by each distributor to ensure our teams remain focused on quality and freshness both in our warehouses as well as retail locations.
  • All of our warehouses are climate controlled for optimal refrigerated package and keg storage.

Key managers per category for targeted presales

  • Each distributor has dedicated craft, wine, liquor and non alcoholic brand managers and teams who will work in sync to align your priorities to our sales teams goals. 
  • Chain focused teams that will make direct calls on On and Off Premise chains; both large and small format, in grocery and c-store channels. National, regional, and local chain calls to restaurant groups and vendors. 
  • Category Captains for major retailers that build and control the cooler sets and resets yearly which will help to ensure premium shelf placements.

Marketing and POS planning

  • Our marketing teams will work to find special events and promotions that will most effectively introduce your brands to our retailers and customers. 
  • Social media outlets and our communication channels will work to ready the market for your launch, so the introduction is seamless and our consumer base is  eager. 
  • Our goal is to work together on the best approach to how your brands will come to life at retail.  Consistent and eye catching point of sale pieces will be co-op’ed to showcase your brands at retail that will make them shine.

Sales Teams and Focus

  • Our sales staff will be trained and versed with knowledge to personally introduce your brand to every key retailer across the state.   Off premise focus on getting brands placed in the optimal spots on displays, in coolers and on shelves for the highest visibility .  
  • Crew Drives and hyper focused launch goals with supplier representatives to key retailers and must have accounts. 
  • On Premise sales depts to focus on draught handles, price features and new item promotions.  Large scale draught depts to ensure those lines are cleaned and maintained every 2 weeks. 

Sales Support

  • Most comprehensive sign shops in Kansas.  Our graphic design teams can work together to create cohesive looks in the market on a variety of materials; banners, shelf tags, statics, wall graphics, window wraps, etc.  
  • VIP reporting to allow supplier access to track and report sales and distribution in real time. 
  • Merchandising teams to support in stock retailer conditions through the week into the weekend.

  • Sales teams are incentivized to grow your business.  Annual business plan meetings will determine specific goals to partner with our suppliers on, both monthly and yearly.   We will continue to invest in your brand well past your successful launch and continue to keep your brands top of mind in our sales forces.  Each distributor will commit to a predetermined cents per case based on the annual volume plan.
